Aiming for new heights
BUILDING USER EXPERIENCES THAT MATTER
At Scalepoint, our ambition is clear: to be a leader in developing innovative software solutions for the insurance industry. With products like PolicyCORE and ClaimsCORE, we help Europe's leading insurance companies optimize their workflows — quoting to policy management and claims handling.
We are currently modernizing our existing platforms and developing new products that will shape the future of insurance tech. As part of this journey, we’re looking for a skilled and passionate React Developer to join our product engineering team for PolicyCORE in Copenhagen. You’ll be part of a cross-functional setup working on intuitive, scalable, and user-centric interfaces that make a real difference for our customers and their users.
If you’re excited by the idea of joining a product team from the early stages and helping shape the frontend experience, we’d love to hear from you.
What kind of geek are you?
We are looking for a React developer with the following skills and experience:
- Front-end Expertise: Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with tools and libraries such as Redux, React Query, Vite, Webpack, and testing frameworks like Jest or Cypress is a plus.
- Design Awareness: You understand the importance of good UX and UI, and you’re comfortable working with design systems and collaborating with designers.
- Performance & Accessibility: You care about building performant, accessible, and responsive interfaces that work across devices and browsers.
- Problem-Solving: You approach challenges with curiosity and structure, and you’re not afraid to dive into complex flows or legacy code when needed.
- Communication: You collaborate well across disciplines and can explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with the financial or insurance sector in Denmark is considered a strong advantage, but not a requirement. We value your ability to learn and adapt just as highly.
- Work location: We prefer candidates who can mainly work onsite at our Copenhagen office, with flexible arrangements. However, if you’re the right fit for the role, we’re open to discussing remote work.
- Language skills: Danish at a native or high professional level is preferred.
What to dive into
As a React developer at Scalepoint, you will play a key role in shaping the front-end of our SaaS solutions. Your tasks will include:
- Front-end Development: Building and maintaining React-based applications using modern tooling and best practices.
- Component Architecture: Designing reusable components and contributing to our shared design system.
- Code review and product ownership: During the project phase you will work closely with an external partner. Part of your job will be to act as their touchpoint on technical matters and review the code they are producing. You will be owning the 2 products mentioned below from a front-end perspective also after the initial development phase.
- API Integration: Working closely with backend developers to integrate REST APIs and ensure smooth data flows.
- Testing & Quality: Writing unit and integration tests to ensure high code quality and stability.
- Collaboration: Working closely with designers, product owners, and other developers in agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
You will be working on
Policy360, our new sales and service platform tailored for the insurance industry. The platform is designed to support end-to-end policy lifecycle management, enabling insurance companies to deliver seamless digital experiences to their customers and agents. As part of the team, you’ll help build intuitive and scalable user interfaces that support complex business flows — from onboarding and quoting to policy changes and renewals.
Later in the project, you will also contribute to the development of a
customer-facing portal, which will empower end users to manage their insurance policies, submit service requests, and access relevant documents — all through a modern, self-service experience.
You’ll be part of a cross-functional project setup with multiple agile teams working toward a shared product vision. We work iteratively and value close collaboration across roles — from developers and designers to product owners and business consultants. You’ll be involved in shaping solutions from early discovery to implementation, with a strong focus on user needs, technical feasibility, and business value.
What makes you a good fit?
- You are a curious and proactive front-end developer who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- You enjoy crafting intuitive user experiences and are motivated by creating real impact for users and stakeholders.
- You take ownership of your work, contribute positively to team dynamics, and value continuous learning and feedback.

About us
Scalepoint spirit in everyday life
Come as you are. That’s how we prefer it. You can easily leave dress codes, permanent lunch buddies, and corporate business attitudes at home. Our office is filled with kudos and high fives – and we believe that everyone is doing their best.
We have employees from 11 nationalities across our offices in Copenhagen, Poland and Switzerland. 63% of us ride a cycle to work. 42% eat vegetarian meals during lunch. 38% are parents. And 52% don't regularly work out. But our sport and events team tries to keep us moving by offering activities such as climbing, mountain biking, running and padel tennis. However, we cannot change the fact that we have a very generous attitude to sweets and cake. But that’s ok; there's a lot to celebrate at Scalepoint.
We look forward to hearing from you!
