POSITION TITLE:  Senior React Engineer (This is remote as long as the person lives in the following states NV, IL, IA, TN, NY, MO, NC, SC, TX, PA, MA

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Engineering Team is seeking a talented Senior React Engineer for our UI framework team . They need a person that is passionate about building meaningful and rich experiences for the web. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The ideal candidate is a modern JavaScript expert, with an understanding of tools, libraries, MVC frameworks, and ReactJS.

• You will be responsible for planning and executing the implementation of ReactJS
• Collaborate and build a scalable, testable, and maintainable architecture in a CI/CD docker-based environment.
• Testing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device compatibility for inconsistencies
• Write HTML and CSS and work collaboratively with other engineers, product managers, executives, and designers to bring concepts to life using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Mentor and lead by example with other Engineers on your team 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
• 5+ years developing for the web and/or mobile 
• 2+ years of experience working with React.js 
• JavaScript / CSS / HTML 
• Good knowledge of 'Vanilla' JavaScript, commanding knowledge of ESNext (ES6+) 
• Good at debugging JavaScript 
• Experience with React, Redux, and Webpack 
• Write re-usable UI components based on design patterns and workflows 
• Ability to use & integrate React/Redux 3rd party dependencies/middleware/components 
• Experience configuring and using front end build tools and packages managers such as npm, yarn, Webpack, gulp 
• Experience with TDD using frameworks such as Jest, Jasmine or Mocha. 
• Experience building single-page web application that perform and scale well in modern, mobile and legacy browsers. 
• Experience interfacing with REST APIs and/or API Gateways  
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. 
• Thorough code documentation and technical specifications 
• Extreme attention to detail is required. 
• Web application security should be one of your highest concerns. Knowledge in preventing and fixing exploits. 
• Experience with enterprise level software solutions, agile methodologies 
• Up to date knowledge of CSS3 and tools like SASS or LESS 
• Strong desire to grow and keep up with the latest trends in front end technology 
• Ability to work in a pair programming environment 
• Passion for writing elegant solutions, quality code, and delivering the best product possible
