Senior Typescript / React Developer

Work location: TOPCON Office located in Bologna ( Italy )

The job can be performed 100% remotely ( Italy) with a visit to our Bologna office when required

Job Purpose

Topcon Positioning is looking for a Senior-level React Developer who can help architect and build competitive applications for our Product Creation team. This individual will work with the Web Services team to help build shared services applications and new applications for Topcon's Digital Construction portfolio.

Responsibilities will include :

• Design and build re-usable components and applications in React.js
• Creating new applications while helping to frame and implement key development concepts for the Development team.
• Working with the Product Creation team to deliver stable and resilient solutions.
• Working in a team environment with the ability to estimate and execute projects on time.
• Ensuring security is always a key factor in our deliverables.

 Competence and Skills : 

• Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, and the web browser application lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of React.js and its ability to create rapid applications.
• Ability to collaborate with teams across the globe and have strong communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot errors and performance issues.
• Ability to implement unit testing in React.js, Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, and packaging of front-end assets.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge of working with IDEs such as Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code.
• Working with APIs and integrating them into front-end applications.

Education & Experience

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with extensive experience in the development field.
• 10+ years of front-end development experience
• Proven leadership skills demonstrated in previous positions.
• 5 years or more using React.js to build enterprise-scale applications.
• A good command (both written and speaking) of the ENGLISH language is required for the job.
