About the Senior React Software Engineer position
We’re looking for a Senior React Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of building intuitive, performant, and accessible user interfaces for our core platform. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers and backend engineers to deliver impactful features that improve the discharge experience for hospitals, care teams, and patients alike.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who thrives on delivering clear and readable code, scalable UI architecture, and user-friendly design — all within a high-growth, mission-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new front-end features using React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
- Work closely with product managers to translate user stories into functional, responsive interfaces.
- Build and maintain reusable components with developer and user experience in mind.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define, document, and implement REST API communication.
- Participate in requirements specification, code reviews, and general technical decision-making.
- Help shape and evolve front-end best practices, UI standards, and developer tooling.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade front-end applications in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile first development
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices
- Passion for writing clean, maintainable code and building scalable front-end systems
- Previous experience in healthcare, EHR systems, or enterprise SaaS is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills
